Maud, OK Main Street

Maud is one of the most interesting places we've been by far. It's architecture is impressive, but the downtown area seems to be largely unused. That being said, the town seems to be proud of downtown. There is a good museum, and when we visited in December, there were Christmas decorations all over. Most importantly, the people we met in Maud were about as nice as could be. We felt welcome there. Pottawatomie County (12/2007)
